Atwater Village is a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles, California. It is bordered by the Los Angeles districts of Los Feliz and the Hollywood Hills of Griffith Park on the west, Silver Lake on the south, and Glassell Park on the north-east, Elysian Valley on the south-east and by the city of Glendale on the north. The Los Angeles River runs west of it, separating it from Los Feliz and Silverlake.
Principal thoroughfares include San Fernando Road, Fletcher Drive, and Los Feliz and Glendale Boulevards. The Golden State and Glendale Freeways run along the district's western and southeastern borders, respectively.
