Atomic Bombay is the latest project for Frankie Camaro from Dragstrip and Big Guitars from Texas. One of Frankie’s songs from the Big Guitars was nominated for a Grammy.
Frankie has played guitar for Dino Lee (New Rose Records), Dragstrip (Shredder Records) and for Screaming Jay Hawkins. He played guitar for Poison 13 on a couple of shows in Austin. He has played shows with Dick Dale, The Beach Boys, Cheeta Chrome of the Dead Boys, Nashville Pussy, The Flaming Lips, The Stranglers, The Gizmos, The Zero Boys, Mojo Nixon, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Butthole Surfers and Southern Culture on the Skids.
Atomic Bombay mixes garage blues psychedelic, and new wave punk sounds with memorable hooks, guitars and occasional sitar.
