Spin crunched the numbers. Since Spotify reportedly pays out $0.006 to $0.084 for each stream of a song, fans would need to stream Nelly's songs at least 402,880,500 times for him to make enough decrease his tax woes. However if his tunes, especially "Hot in Herre," paid out the higher $0.084, then fans need listen to the track a grand total of 287,176,547 times.
While no one's calculated how successful this campaign has been, we're sure that it'll take more than just a few days for Nelly to reach his goal. So keep that "Hot in Herre" stream on repeat and help him out!
