Katy Perry may make her big screen debut in Zoolander 2. In an Instagram video posted January 19, she sings along to "Relax," the 1984 single by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, at least until Ben Stiller pops up as Zoolander's titular model. "Hey Katy, could you not sing that song?" he says. "It brings up a lot of personal issues."
In the 2001 film, fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell) brainwashes Derek Zoolander by playing "Relax," conditioning him to think that Malaysia's prime minster is evil because of his stance against child labor.
An appearance in Zoolander 2, out February 12, would be Katy's third acting role total. Previously, she lent her voice to Smurfs 2 and guest-starred in How I Met Your Mother.
