The thief who was blessed was predestined elect. Being predestined elect doesn't mean you've always walked the narrow way, but it does mean you eventually learn to bear your cross and stand for truth. Even today there are murderers in our prison systems who are awaiting the death penalty. If they are elect their eyes will be opened, and their minds being given understanding will know the truth of the daily cross and bear it. When someone who is predestined elect is executed for some crime they committed in the past, yet being elect have turned from their ways and have taken up the daily cross of self denial, they will reside with God upon death.
There is no 'falling between the line'. Such a situation doesn't exist.
"And whosoever doth not bear his cross and come after me, cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:27). A 'disciple' is one who receives discipline. "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth" (Hebrews 12:6). Anyone who is a 'child of Christ' will learn to bear their cross and suffer for his namesake. Otherwise they aren't his child.

Creationists believe that humans were created generally at the
same time as all other animals how do you explain that all
across the globe you get sequences of fossils whether this be
in Africa or Asia or South America when you get sequences of fossils
they are always in the same order how did that happen if in
fact evolution did not occur. if there wasn't evolution from
one species from another why is it that these organisms
would all sort in the same way?
Here is where the flood comes in. According to creationists the
super natural flood caused all of these organisms to be mixed
up together but the settled a particular order. Creationists say
well the creatures in the ocean were most effected by the flood
and they will settle out on the bottom. Creatures on the
mountains will settle on the top, and we would expect to find
this order everywhere because thats the way the flood sorted them.
well first of all we are back to the super natural but secondly,
here you can actually look at the order of the fossils and this
turns out to not be true, in other words all the oceanic creatures
are not at the bottom, all the maintain living creatures are not at
the top. So theres problems from the geology of this as well.
Creationism is not a science, it distorts information that has
been put together by evolutionary science.
If the worldwide sequence of fossils are the products of Noah's flood and its
resultant fallout, why, then - at no place on this vast earth - do we find
dinosaurs and large mammals in the same strata; why are trilobites never
with mammals (not even marine mammals), but always in strata below?
Surely some retarded elephant would be keeping company with dinosaurs,
some valiant trilobite swimming hard for thirty-nine days and winning an
exalted upper berth with mammals.
