Anticosm is an extreme metal act out of New Jersey.
The bands sound can best be described as Black Thrash with and old school touch of melodic guitar solos. The first release was Alcoholic Darkness from 2007 which they followed by an original full length Against The Cosmos in 2009. That year Anticosm hit the road and toured the States all the way to the West Coast and back. In 2010 the band singed to Born Of Chaos Records with whom they released their next EP The Wreckoning in 2011. They followed the release with another tour up north to Minnesota and back. In recent news the the bands drummer has decided to go his own way, the decision was mutual and they remain friends. Since 2007 the band has played close to 200 gigs and currently is taking a break from the stage. At the moment the band is busy recording a brand new full feature album which they hope to release by the end of 2014. Anticosm has a strong live presence with dual guitars, deep abysmal bass, pounding double bass drums, cut throat vocals and plenty of hair. The band members enjoy giving out as much energy as possible and you can expect no less with the upcoming release. Anticosm has been looking for a new drummer to take the throne and has one in sight. As soon as all the pieces are together the band aims to hit the stage once again. Anticosm decided to give all their music out for free and you can find their discography for free download at www.anticosm.bandcamp.com You can pay what you want and any donations collected will be used to make some merch for the fans. Stay in touch with the band and any questions including booking you can shoot by email. Don't be shy say hi and have a drink with Anticosm at a show.
