Anthony Vitti - Fender Bass:
I grew up in Queens New York. I graduated Berklee College of Music in 1986 and worked through my Masters degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Lowell. I have performed with, Steve Smith, Gregg Bissonette, Carmine Appice, Zoro, Abe Laborial Jr, Jamie Haddad, Giovani Hildalgo, Marcus Miller, Chuck Rainey, Sammy Davis Jr., Liberace, Nell Carter, Bobby Vinton, Diane Carroll, and many other artists. I performed with Herb Reed and the Original Platters, The Drifters and The Coasters as seen on the PBS “Doo Wop” specials. I have published ten instructional books and three DVD’s in Japan. I have played on numerous Broadway shows and many television and radio commercials. I have been a Professor in the Bass Department at Berklee College of Music since 1988.

So a friend of mine got his hands on the masters of some Stevie Wonder (Superstition!), Marvin Gaye and Beatles tracks and we were listening to Superstition with the bass line soloed and it made me think of your labs. That Stevie was a badass with his left hand!!! It's incredible to listen to it and realize all the little details I've never heard, even though I've listened to that song a million times. You should listen to them, the Marvin and Beatles stuff is killer too.
