About me:
500,000,000 (five hundred million) farm animals are killed for food in Australia every year. They are raised in some of the most horrific conditions imaginable, putting profit before compassion. We're here to end it!
Be a voice for animals and don’t support factory farming. If you’re young and have a passion to help animals, you’re at the right place: Animals Australia Youth.
Darren is a dedicated vegan who is helping to raise awareness through the success of his very popular band, Kisschasy, and has partnered up with AAY to help inform you guys (and girls) about the plight of animals on factory farms in Australia.
See our new video featuring Darren Cordeux, explaining why factory farming is cruel and unacceptable!
Also don't forget to check out our new poster of Daz, doing it for the chicks ;)

Featured Video: About this video:
Meet 'Lucy', an Australian sow. She is as intelligent as a three year old child, yet she spends days on end trapped in a tiny metal cage so small that she can not even turn around. Her piglets are subjected to painful surgical mutilations - without anaesthetic. These sensitive animals need your help.

Hey, thanks for adding me a while back. I've been vegetarian for 1 1/2 years and vegan for a year. Everything that you, AAY, people like Darren and their bands do is so amazing. As they post on the AAY site, they're starting to make real progress and I wanted to say that so many people appreciate what you guys do and what you're all about. Appart from not supporting factory farms and donating, is there a better way to contribute as a high school student?

Thankyou for your hard work :) I became vegetarian late last year, thanks for opening my eyes. I also saw the feature on the 7:30 Report the other day, it's horrifying how those animals are treated. You're doing an absolutely fantastic job in making people aware of what goes on, so thanks :)

That video was disturbing on this page and the video on IKTPQ myspace page is even worse. I'am going to slowly but eventually stop eating meat... [for real]
besides i swear i could live off margarita pizza haha so it will work :-)
it's really good you guys are reaching out to people it's working!!
How to survive XMAS this year: 1. Wear a veg t-shirt. 2. Discuss openly why you won't be eating turkey/chicken/pig meat. 3. Encourage others to try Veg as a new years resolution! 4. Don't be a bad santa! Give vegan presents! 5. Cook lots of yummy vegan food and SHARE (especially with the non-vegans) 6. Smile and RELAX. You made it through another year without killing anything. Well done!
Merry Christmas from your feathery chicken friend! xx
