What: SARO will not be holding general meeting on campus until the Fall 2008 semester begins in August. Please feel free to email us at info@syracuseanimalrights.com for information on our next general meeting over the summer and keep up dated about all of our upcoming events.

Protest Foie Gras!

The owner of L'adour stated that foie gras makes up less than 1% of his menu sales and if a law was passed he would take it off the menu- let's let them know that they are personally responsible for the cruelty on foie gras farms and that as we saw in the Micheal Vick case, culture is no excuse for animal cruelty!

What: Hold signs and distribute literature during the busy lunch AND dinnertime hours.
Where: L’adour Restaurant located at 110 Montgomery St. in Downtown Syracuse
When:
Lunchtime Demo: Sunday July 13th from 12noon-1pm
Dinnertime Demo: Friday July 18th from 6:30-8pm
Dinnertime Demo: Friday July 25th from 6:30-8pm

Feel free to call, write and email the restaurant letting them know you want foie gras off their menu and you don't plan on giving them business until then.
