MikeyD	Nov 14 2007 7:47 AM I agree that Slots would be a good thing and I agreed to that when Erilch was in office as well. Haha only now since O'Mally said it's a good thing does the senate think they want to pass it... odd how that works huh? MD is such a backwards ass state. I do think however that to an extent Slots and leagle gambling is in essence a tax on the poor, it's still their choice so let them have it! I'm just pissed that ALL the tax "breaks" promised by O'Mally when he ran are going bye bye, and so is the "help" with BGE! Grr!

Like despite the fact that MD is about to receive the biggest tax hike in not only our state's history, but in the country, none of the front page stories in the Sun were about that. You know what was "Head Line News" this morning? The pope planing some visits some where, and the "Ravens play the Blame Game" nonsense. When will MD wake up and smell the local jokers we've elected?

MikeyD	Jul 20 2007 7:36 PM Heck yeah it was awesome so far. Still at least one day left for me. Are you done for the weekend? I hope you at least get to wander around the event for the next 2 days or something for your troubles. Yeah, the team they have helping with the event is some acronym obsessed group "S.A.F.E." and they are safety Nazis for lack of a better term. They got "Special Police" to run the cross walk between the two buildings, and they blocked off MOST of the stairways up and down in the main areas too. Apparently giving people MORE room to move around and avoid each other on the steps will some how prevent accidents. I think they just wanted to reduce liability, but hey what ever. Well that's enough ranting for me for one night. I hope to see you again throughout the Con. Thanks again for signing my cast, and art book, I know you weren't exactly in "Autograph mode" when I dropped by. You rock.
