We've been listening to an awful lot of Dub Trio recently, so dat dere is an influence, we've always listened to lots of At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Biffy, Radiohead, the pAper chAse and Battles....and their friends, we listen to Infants, though listening to any iNFANTS is too much, but we love it.....

Angry Panda formed in 2003 as the collective expression of three angry young men. They were determined to voice their opinion in a music scene seemingly more concerned with the jaded aesthetic than a sincere mode of expression.
Taking ideology from the chaotic and visceral anger of bands like At The Drive-In, Reuben, and The Cooper Temple Clause, such sounds are set alongside the nose-thumbing art-punk invented by the likes of The Velvet Underground and Sonic Youth; Angry Panda's music is made with an all-consuming approach, the genesis of which is found in post-rock apocalyptic visionaries such as Godspeedyoublackemperor!, Explosions In The Sky, and Mogwai. Angry Panda have made it their mission to sample the very best of modern influences, and forge them into a uniquely schizophrenic blend of high-octane punk and screamingly momentous post-rock.
The righteous fury of Angry Panda can be summed up in the lyrics of Lee Everson's dystopian nightmares; eloquent and impassioned, a hysterical plea for change in a world that is content to take a somnambulant march into collective oblivion.
Tortured vocal melodies are coupled with Steve Nutt's Greenwood-esque guitar abuse and the virtuoso percussion of Jack Everson. This conspires to make AP a mean-faced didactic noise machine; Famous amongst their fans for their sweat-laced and breakneck live shows, which always explode with cathartic energy. AP have been blowing the minds and ears of their audiences for the last 5 years - playing across the country in venues as diverse as the Liverpool Cavern Club, Bristol Fleece and Firkin and the Sheffield Boardwalk; Right through to the occasional sorely unprepared country pub. We are here to make a statement for real rock music, real expression, real loud…
