AFTER BELLS HAD RUN AND WERE SILENT (1996) the story of a girl from age 8-18, told by different narrators in a fractured chronology.
THE JOURNEY ITSELF IS HOME (1998) the narrator learns that he has gotten a young girl pregnant. He travels around the country trying to find the runaway, on a journey that echoes the travelogues of Basho.
PIRATES OF CRUDE (2000) a story about modern pirates in the Caribbean, who prey on drug smugglers between the Spanish Main and the U.S. Gulf Coast. The modern pirates operate in the same waters using the same tactics as the pirates of the 17th & 18th centuries. The story bulges with sex, drugs and violence as well as sly bedevilments, critical history and black humor.

Yo Drew, good to hear about your reading. I am in Sweden, due to return to Island for a week or so at the end of Sept/Stardom of Oktober. I will then head towards NYC for about a month or month and a half. You remain with all of us. Lots of good vibes on your road. Peace and respect... FREEDOM FOREVER!!!
Andrew, I just finished your book. It was awesome.....always thought it would be cool to be able to write a book. The crude, and sometimes vulgar language was a breath of fresh New Mexico air after reading tons of non-fiction. Congrats Mr. Famous!
i know. i totally should have moved into Sam and Cara's spare room. I had issues with my landlord, so I wanted to get out of there quick and stealth-like. I will promote your book around the Jamaican community! Then you can come and visit, and it will be like your glorious returning to the people! And finally, I'll go ahead and start a paper route right then.

Hey cousin...Happy Birthday all the way from the "Left Coast." I celebrated our mutual birthdays by enduring 26.2 miles of torture. Have a good birthday with your family!
Thanks for the friends request. Good luck with your novel too. Hope you are not experiencing the wind like we are down in southern new mexico over this past week. It's been like a sand blaster and dust bowl with on and off high wind gusts for us. Can't wait for better weather.
Greeting to Madrid -- I get out that way myself on occasion. Nice town, Andrew. Congrats on the new novel, judging by your work on blogger. com it should make for an interesting read.
