Andraea is a songwriter, who has finished studying for her BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship degree at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). She also earned a Higher Diploma in Modern Songwriting, during her first year.
Since the age of six, she has played an active role in music, despite losing 70% of her hearing at the age of seven. Armed with two highly powered hearing aids and much determination, she attended Stagecoach, performed in many musical theatre shows and as well singing; she also took up the piano, the flute, the drums and guitar. In desperate need for another hobby, she began to write songs.
Excited at the prospect of having had possibly discovered her niche, she studied songwriting tuition books and listened to as much of her favourite artists as possible in order to improve her songwriting skills. She has many musical influences, including Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, Sting and Bruce Springsteen. Her main goal is to become a singer/songwriter. Still, she would also like to produce and write for other artists as well.
Her most recent achievement is getting a song on a charity album called ‘The Tales of Rottingdean’, which is being sold to raise money for a little charity shop called PARC in that is nestled in the little village of Rottingdean, where the songwriter also resides.
As part of one of her projects during her degree, she had to produce and mix a recording of a band in only one hour. For this she recorded function band The Dancefloor Fillers (see Friend's List) with their version of 'We Are Family', when Sam was the lead singer.
Andraea also has another MySpace page @ www.myspace.com/andraeaz. Soon this page will be used to showcase the photograhy work she is doing for other artists.

Hey Andraea! Your status said you were feeling fragile-hope it's nothing too serious! And glad I cheered you up a little! The weather sure is warming up now-after a heap of rain last week! Funny how the hot weather means Christmas is coming-as it's the opposite for you! Everything is good here, keeping busy with all the usual family stuff. I hope you are doing ok and feel better soon! hugs kath xx
Yeha i met the lovely stephen fry and his parents!! He was filming at my house for the second series of Kingdam, our library is to double up as Cambridge Uinversity Library, he really is a very nice guy. His mum and dad are so lovely too!! Apparently they only stay a few miles away from here.
It was a lovely day, but very tiring, they arrived at about 7.10am and left at 9pm!!
Hi Andraea! I had some pc issues but it's all sorted now and I am back! Still trying to find everyone though! Things are good here thanks-nothing very exciting happening-just the usual day-to-day stuff! Hope you are well? Take care kath xx
Oh! Thanks Andraea! I left you a message also on bryanadams.com board. I know that you don't sing, but i like your songs very much, especially Ain't in the mood for talking, and I like your work and your ability to listen to heart...I mean that in this period I'm a bit confused and I don't know what I really want and what I can do...I feel only a deep love for music but I don't know how to express it...when I went to school I plyed the piano and the guitar, but then I started to go to university and I had to give up: now almost everything I had learned is lost and I can't recover it anymore, so when I'll get my degree I'd like learning to sing...I know it's late, but I don't mind where I'll get to, I just want to start to do what I really want, because this means to start to live...some time ago I thought that I could do what my parents wanted from me, that maybe they were right and I was wrong, so I've never tried to reach my dreams, but now I can't stand this situation anymore!!!! I can't wait to start to sing!
Hi!!! hehe, well, I've disappeared from the web since I started working :S
