André Litschke a.k.a. Alpha Human was born in Mödling (near Vienna) in 1969.
He discovered his interest in the arts very early and not surprisingly: His father was a painter and his mother an actress. The fading disco-era and Italo-Disco sparked his passion for electronic dance music and when he discovered his first chicago-house-record in 1987 this only confirmed that he was on the right path, musicwise.
It wasn't until 2005 though that he started producing tracks on his own, his influences ranging from house to lounge-music. Among the artists that had considerable influence on him, he states the likes of Maxwell Implosion,Thievery Corporation, Joey Negro, Milk Sugar but also good old Easy-Listening-artists like Roberto Delgado, Peter Thomas or Nelson Riddle. His music is danceable, but never without a touch of extravagance.
Since 2006 he releases constantly on netlabels.

Du landest mit ihm auf den neuen Klängen des Uranus, du spürst die Brise des Mondes und feierst heisser als alles andere zu den Klängen von Sun. Die Vielzahl der Klangfarben in seiner Musik bringt dich danach hypnotisiert mit Earth in die Camera zurück und verspricht somit einen bleibenden Eindruck in euren Köpfen zu hinterlassen. For the official birthday party PLAY.FM is proud to present the father of Detroit techno: Anthony “Shake” Shakir will play one of his rare European gigs on 5 May. Shake has been playing a decisive role in shaping the Motor City Sound since 1981 – from long-time A&R for Juan Atkins' Metroplex-Label to Co-Producer and Sound Engineer for Derrick May, Carl Craig und Keith Tucker from Aux 88.
In contrast to many of his colleagues, Shake avoided selling-out Detroit techno to the European market and has stayed true to his style: bone-dry and unbelievably soulful techno tracks with diverse influences from electro to hip hop and funk.
