CASTING CALL FOR HOT ARTISTIC CREATIVE STYLISH EXTRAS
Posted 1/4/07
Black SciFi short film to be shot on location in Harlem, NY USA mid-January seeks African, African American and Caribbean extras to help portray a dystopian Harlem setting 30 years into the future.
First scenario:
Street scene: Seeking extras dressed in drab colors (gray, dark brown, black, military green, etc.). Casual fall/winter clothing. Overcoats, parkas, jean jackets, wool jackets, goose down jackets, ponchos, wraps, rain jackets, knit hats, caps, scarves, worn jeans, baggy military pants, scruffy boots, sneakers or shoes. Everything must have an old, worn out and drab look. No Bright Colors!!! (like red, yellow, white, bright green, purple, etc.) Absolutely NO LOGOS on the clothing!!!
Second scenario:
Food Bar scene: Seeking extras dressed in futuristically styled clothing. Be creative and colorful. Leather, rubber, plastic are great! Studs and loops on belts and jackets are great! Original tattoos and piercings a plus! Eyewear is a plus! Outrageous hair and make up is fierce! Just remember it's only about 30 years into the future, so keep it realistic (like the difference between 1970's outfits and clothing via 2007) We are trying to set a chic mood with a slightly underground feeling. One other thing, think Afro-futurism meaning be inspired by the Motherland! And again please NO LOGOS!!
All are welcome to be in one or both scenarios, please send different pix as an example of both scenarios.
Please send resume, headshots and interesting RECENT pix of self to mizanmedia@gmail.com
