The Almost Acoustic Band's debut performance was in February of 2002 in Jensen Bch, FL. In the bands short-lived 2 years of playing and touring together, they performed over 200 shows along the East Coast. AAB was a trio made up of Billy Gilmore (Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Dobro, Vocals), Josh Foster (Piano, Bass, Organ, Keys, Vocals), and Brent Hopper (Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals). Fusing many influences together ie: Bluegrass, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Swing, and Instrumental songs and tunes, they quickly gained interest.
They got together again to record on Brittany Reilly's debut self-released CD 'Good Old Country Sound' in the Fall of 2007 and changed up the line-up a bit. They are on the road full time supporting Brittany on stage now and doing around 150 shows a year supporting the new release which came out March 1st...
