Besides sports - I watch 'em, follow 'em and yeah, of course, I do play lots of 'em too. I guess growing up with four older brothers will do that to a girl. Over the years, but not since I had Justin, I played lots of volleyball. Especially mixed doubles on the beach. That was my favorite and those were some really good years and kept me in great shape to boot. I was an avid bowler with a 180 average, played in a womens softball league (we won a championship too), love to throw the football around, took up golf, can handle a stick, dabble in tennis, racketball, and paddleball too. I even took a six day, 200 mile rafting trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. The best trip I've ever done in my life. It was such an amazing experience, ya know with nature like that. If your an adventurist, I highly reccomend a trip like that. Well, the list doesn't end there, but in order to maintain some modesty and not wanting to bore anyone either, I think I'll move onto something else about me.
I love to follow my Yankees and have been lucky enough to viddy some awesome games over the years - postseason and Yanks vs. Mets games at both stadiums. I really like going to different ballparks, and am eagerly anticipating Justin joining Steve and I for fun trips around the country. So far, I've been to Fenway, Camden Yards and the Olympic Park (Expos stadium when they were still a ballclub). I yet ot get to Wrigley, but I will SOON cuz the Cubbies are my favorite NL team and I love their nostalgic stadium! Besides the Yankees and Jets, I follow so many sports, that my husband actually says its too much and he's a sports fan too.
Some of my other interests are obviously my faith. I was raised Jewish, but seven years ago I made a leap of faith and accepted Jesus (Yeshsua Meshiach) as the Jewish Messiah the Bible prophesied about. It has been a life changing experience to say the very least and one that has broadened my life in every facet possible!! I once lived in darkness, but I now I live in Light - the Light of Truth.
Some of my other interests are nature, weather, maps, history, science, Politics & Law,
fishing, boating, good food, wine & spirits. I'm a woman who loves to get out in the great outdoors ~ to see and do things, to gain knowledge and understanding of this incredible world around us and to just keep trying new things. I enjoy petitioning our elected leaders and do my best to keep abreast of the issues that are near and dear to my heart as a Believer and a proud American.
