Bloody Ninety Eight formed in 2008 in Mobile, Alabama. Charlie and GG had recently returned home to Mobile after a few years out west. Charlie spent his time in LA, playing bass in a few local bands before landing a gig with legendary punk rockers The Dickies. GG paid his dues fine-tuning his songwriting while stuck in Kern County "the armpit of California". The band was lucky enough to get the news another local yee-haw had moved back to "The Heart of Dixie" from LA. The guys recruited Mark Loftin, a master of everything with strings, as soon as his boots hit the red Alabama dirt. George Kennedy, formerly of Pain, was brought in to provide percussion & non-sobriety. In the same vein as Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Drive-By Truckers, The Supersuckers and Uncle Tupelo, Bloody Ninety Eight mixes up all the music traditions the South has to offer. Their first EP "Muscle", was released in 2001(as AllGetOut), then followed up by the powerhouse full-length "Southern Business" in 2004 (also as AllGetOut). Look for the new album in 2008.

Hey there fellas. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately I could not make your show saturday night. Moms trailer caught on fire while she was sleepin; I tried to get her out but the crane broke falling down on the trailer. When the crane fell it blew out the tires on the trailer causing it to collapse and kill 17 out of the 24 dogs that lived underneath the trailer. And 2 more dogs are still missing and my sling-shot melted. And while all that was going on I also had a gig to play. Anyway hope ya'll enjoyed the sweetleaf as much as everybody else; I'm sure you did, and I'm sure it was a great show. Hope to see ya'll soon KEEP ON ROCKIN...........-goatboy-
