I have been blessed to perform and record with an incredibly diverse group of players -- from hip hoppers to psychedelic rockers, from broadway divas to deep down and dirty blues artists, from jazz groups to funk bands, and some of the greatest musicians of the rhythm and blues world! Opening for the godfather of soul, James Brown, and tap dancing with the legendary Howard "Sandman" Sims (in his kitchen) have been two of the most wonderful experiences of my artistic life! I'm a collaborator-- love to share my music and support other artists.
CURRENTLY WORKING ON A NEW RECORDING PROJECT! Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open!
Hi there alecia chakour first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
Definitely! Would love to see you...I'm actually performing at the Majestic in "It's a Wonderful Life" so maybe you can come and then hang out with the cast (meghan will be there I'm sure) after the show! let's go dancing!
Thanks very much for your friendship Alecia, and for the wonderful music!
When you get a chance, please stop by our music education "Space" and leave my students a comment…words of encouragement, a lesson learned, favorite quote, poetry, or even advice for this school year.

Absolutely fantastic surprise to see you grace the stage at the Sun on Saturday night. Seeing you and your dad trade vocals on "Someday We'll All Be Free" is a real treat and one not to be missed!
