| About Alaska Highway |
originally formed in london in '93, alaska highway is the main
realization of moose - adding to his experiments in electronic music with
the influences of the early pioneering artists from the synthetic world.
this project took on a different shape after a move to los angeles in early
2001, with the addition of anthoni, who is a native of the west coast areas
that have been a heavy influence on his writing styles. a strong collaborative work between the two flourished in the summer of 2003
and have intertwined both light and dark electronica with the more classic
style of song composition.
with a personnel change in early 2007 (see alaskahighway.com/news), moose is forging ahead with redefining the new sound for the future...
everyone who has heard the debut album, 'attitudes of a difficult mind', agree that alaska highway can not be categorized in to any one genre
as the music goes from one extreme to another, finding a balance in
between, is often unsettling, but totally intriguing.

the 2nd album, now entitled 'closure', is finally entering the mix phase and will be released shortly. 11 tracks, plus 2 remixes, are slated for the release with special DJ mixes being made available pre-launch.
moose continues to work on the 'among the weeds' live shows & debut album 'frail tin beauty' with anthony working on 'monastic'.
