About me: Alabama Ballet, formed in 1982, is second-to-none in its artistic excellence, Birmingham’s second largest performing arts organization and has earned a reputation as a ballet company of national significance.
Under the direction of Wes Chapman, Roger Van Fleteren, and Tracey Alvey, the compay has grown to include 44 dancers from here and abroad.
Alabama Ballet is one of only six companies licensed to perform George Balanchine's The Nutcracker and tours this production to San Antonio, TX during the Thanksgiving season.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to give you the heads up that we are currently in the process of casting the First National Tour of Dirty Dancing the musical! We are looking for dancers from the world of classical and/or contemporary dance. If you have Ballroom/Latin/partnering experience, that’s a plus!
Currently will be having Open Dance Calls in: Austin - Oct. 8th, Nashville – Oct. 12th, Miami – Oct. 19th, and LA – Oct. 25th.
