Beyond the conventionally imposed divides, sacred Arts revolve around the same Center, just like us and all atoms of the Creation, it is in our innate nature to gather and to revolve in Surrender~Islam to The Divine in Her/His immense Beauty... La ilaha illa Allah ... thus do we peel ourselves off of all the fragmenting ego notions imposed upon us through unlawful systematizations that alienate us from our innate Reality which is Light itself...

Nijma Esad Sol Cyrans Innernational 773-575-8150 Solcyrans317@gmail.com On Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 7pm, Please join the City of Chicago, the Jazz Institute and Sol Cyrans as they pay tribute to the mystical jazz-infused melodies of Sun Ra and his Arkestra who for three generations took listeners on voyages to “other” worldly realms through their music. Leading this must see, once in a lifetime experience, will be former Arkestra member and master teacher, astronomer and musician Kelan Phil Cohran. Cohran will be accompanied by over 30 musicians, dancers, and vocalist; many Chicago legends like Maggie Brown, Aquilla Sadalla of SAMANA fame, and Bobby Irving. The audience can also look forward to dynamic performances by Malik and Cephus Cohran of Ultimate Image, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Sugar Strings, Delano O’Banion of the famed Fisk Jubilee Singers, Preacher Gay of the golden gospel family of Chicago, as well as the “Bronzeville Diva” Senebella. All converging on the Jay Pritker stage in Millennium Park, to transport willing participants to the cosmos once again. Be advised attendees will need an open mind and a willing spirit before take off.
