| About Ah, Venice |
..
Way back in the spring of 2005 Tim(guitar/vox) and Justin(guitar/vox) emerged from the ashes that were Kurmudgeon with guitars on their backs only to spend the following summer holding hands and wandering the earth. In the fall came the great flood which forced them to seek shelter on the highest peak of Mount Reverb. The boys raced up the mountain as the water continued to rise but when they came near the peak the way was blocked by what seemed to be a recent avalanche. As the water rose Justin and Tim accepted their fate and began to sing "Wind of Change" by german rockers The Scorpions. Just before they where about to go into the chorus, Kristen(bass/vox) lowered her bass strap to let them climb to the peak. Once on top they heard the drumfill that goes into the chorus from some far off distance and the three of them began to sing the song together. The water was approaching the peak when they saw a large wooden ship on the horizon. On the ship was Captain Sara(keys) and Jeff "the skipper"(drums) who were singing and playing "Wind of Change" right in time with the people on the peak. Jeff got the ship to the mountian just in time and Captain Sara threw down the rope ladder to rescue them. The whole group then went to the ships practice space to finish the song and then followed the north star until the water receded and they crashed in Minneapolis, MN and formed a band. Then in the spring of 2006 Captain Sara decided to return to sea.
