""Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.""
I believe that Monty Python provides the only truly great socio-political commentary of our age but my life most closely resembles The Money Pit. I like anything with obvious humor. Oh, and I also love the really clever ones. The question is, do I know the difference?

About me: Who am I? Isn't that a question we all ponder? I mean really, I assume that everyone spends most of their time thinking about me and who I am....guys, are you still there? Seriously, I like to think I am a quixotically quirky girl with a passion for books, shoes and all things sparkly. Or you could just think of me as the
Who I'd like to meet: Friends: Here's the thing...I have plenty of people to spend time with and while I like meeting new people, my life is already full of amazing, talented, smart, quirky (and sometimes downright silly) friends that I can count on. I am not looking to fill a void, just enrich my life by getting to know passionate people doing interesting things with their lives.
Guys: I have a soul mate out there somewhere. I am pretty sure he is at least a little bit on the liberal side, gets a kick out of sarcastic humor, loves books, live music, travel, and will think I am wonderful even after he finds out about my less charming quirks. I could be wrong but I don't think so.
Networking: I love my job and I am really good at it. I passionately believe in freedom of speech, equal access to information for everyone and literature being capable of transforming lives. I love meeting other people who also love their jobs and are fighting the good fight for what they believe in.
Yes, let's hang, I was just thinking we need to hear some music! Okay, for Record Bar I'm planning to Rock the Vote there for the Richie Restivo Memorial Show 2-8pm on Oct 4th. Also, they are moving Hip Hop & Hot Wings to RB in late October, yay!
Of course that's a weekend I'll be in KC. Mike and I are going to Connie's husband's 40th bday and then to the American Idol concert. UNLESS, it's Sunday cuz we should be back by then.
