We kissed and fell to pieces laughing | | Music | I love music. It's one of the things I'm extremely passionate of. I fell in love with playing the flute in 3rd grade and played all the way through high school senior year. I can't even deny that I was a band nerd because I was and I still am.
I had to stop playing when college hit, but I'm trying to get back into it. I hate to admit it sometimes, but if I had a choice, I would've gladly pursued music as my career! Maybe I could've doubled in it? Or minored! But I'm working on getting back onto the music scene. Hopefully I'll be on stage again this coming fall? I hope so. :)
?jROCK: Ellegarden, SuG, the pillows ?jPOP: AAA | | Movies | I can't even remember the last time I was at a movie theater! But I was probably still happily in love the last time I went. Good times.
I don't really go out to watch movies much, so I just kick back with my parents and watch the DVDs they rent. I'm picky with my movies and don't really like gory horror films. I'm not too into slapstick comedy since a lot of them are distasteful. If the movie has a good story, it'll have my attention.
I could watch Howl's Moving Castle, Pride and Prejudice, Shakespeare in Love, and Titanic over and over without ever getting tired of them. | | Television | I don't watch American television shows other than GREEK and America's Best [Rigged] Dance Crew. Most of the things I watch are Japanese: anime and drama. I do watch some Taiwanese dramas, but not nearly as close to the amount of Japanese shows.
With school, I don't have the time to watch shows, so I can't get into long series. I get bored easily and I'm so bad at keeping up with them! If it has a good story, I'll definitely stay for the ride. :)
?ANIME: Code Geass, Digimon Adventure 01, Vampire Knight ?jDORAMA: Byakuyakou, Hana Yori Dango, Nobuta wo Produce, Nodame Cantabile, Unfair ?twDRAMA: It Started with a Kiss, Devil Beside You | | Books | I like to read.. kind of. Aside from reading the exciting and expensive Biology and Chemistry textbooks I'm required to buy from school, I read manga and fairy tales. I'm even writing my lower division research paper on fairy tales! Random, huh?
I'm helplessly in love with stories. Love, fantasy, drama, slice of life, you name it. Anything that makes me cry is a favorite of mine. And trust me--that's not a hard thing to do.
