Starting out as a collaboration between members of two bands that had recently split up, After the Fall came together in 2005. Diving headfirst into the Omaha scene, the band began to play shows and develop their sound. They entered the studio to begin working on their first EP later that year. Suffering a lineup change shortly after all of the tracking was completed, but not willing to give up yet, they were forced to take time off until they finally found the missing link roughly one year after their formation.
In late March of 2007, After the Fall released their first EP "We Invented a World". Since the release of the EP, the boys have been fortunate enough to share the stage with some of their influences, including Madina Lake and Dropping Daylight. With each member drawing inspiration from various genres, After the Fall has pinned down their own brand of rock with a thoughtfully agressive dynamic. The band is currently writing and recording music for the second album and playing shows throughout the midwest.
soo you guys should be proud of me. because as of right now, i'm planning on going to the show on the 18th. i've come to the conclusion that its been wayyy too long since i've seen you guys. yupp. so if everything goes as planned, i'll get to see all of your smiling faces in a week! :]
yep.. it was fun (: lol prolly most fun ive had this summer.. even thought i didn't get home tell like 330 n had to be to work at 7 the next morning.. haha o he well
