The Summer of 2005 had ended and it was a fateful meeting in the studio, between Nik and Paul, where it all started. After a lot of frustration and personal disappointment over the years (and specially in 2005) Jasmin (voc./git.) and Paul (drums) met Niklas (git.) at a recording session, and right away the chemistry was there. It was that fateful meeting, where it all started. They immediatelyknew, the love for a hard guitarsound is a mean basement for a good rock show…
Everything just fit together perfectly:
the members, the emotion and the music. They all together love the emo-voicing, the rock in rock’n’roll, the groove, the rhythm, the doublebass, the thumbing bass and extra ordinary live show, which they perform every night with passion and pain.
Support for "The (International) Noise Conspiracy" and "Dog Eat Dog", festivals and live-shows all over Germany, in Italy and the Netherlands. Support for "Taste of Chaos" Germany (together with “Taking
Back Sunday”, “Underoath”, “Saosin” und “Fire in the Attic”), the song “my god” on the compilation “Sound of the city”, TV and radio airplay speaks for itself, considering the young band history.
And again a summer has gone by (2007), when the three faced a problem, do to a different development in their life, and a bassman (back then who knew, that it is going to be a basswoman) is needed.
And with Miriam they found a girl on the bass, who is a perfect match.
The first EP is planed in the middle of 2008.

gelingt eine Balance, die es so bislang noch nicht gab:
Zwischen lyrischem Geist - etwa des frühen „Hamburger Schule“ Pioniers Tobias Levin (Cpt.Kirk &) - und dekadentem Falco-Flair, sorgt der 23-jährige Wiener Sänger und Gitarrist Andreas Spechtl und seine Band für Aufregung. Ihr zweites Album "The Taste And The Money" erscheint deshalb folgerichtig als Koproduktion des Hamburger Labels What..s so Funny About und des Wiener Labels Schönwetter. Weit davon entfernt eine Konsens-Band zu sein, gelingt Ja, Panik ein Entwurf, der mal wirklich Lebens-Soundtrack ist. Sie leben in einer Wiener WG, in der auch viele der Songs aufgenommen wurden, und sind nicht umsonst auch von Sound & Spirit der deutschen Band Fehlfarben beeinflusst. Und überhaupt fröhlich dem Pessimismus zugeneigt.

Oh, im listening to your music as we speak. and i have to say. its not the music i listen every day, but its good! i like heavy guitar and drums. your music makes me want to jump and dance and scream :D (and that's always a good thing)
