We lost a good friend and a super talented dj.
This mix is a tribute to Thorsten aka Diathroda R.I.P.
The AFTER 12 radioshow on local underground radiostation Urgent.fm started in 2005.
Dj Mate who already had a Dancehall show called YARDESTYLE FM on the same station and Dj Goony, member of the Warriorz collective joined forces to start this new Breakbeat orientated radioshow.
In the beginning all kinds of mostly British influenced breakbeat music were played on the show, but soon it became clear that the fresh Dubstep sound would be the main ingredient played on the show.
Following the evolution in this genre we can easily say that AFTER 12 is the longest running Dubstep show in Belgium.
The AFTER 12 crew now consists of dj’s Mate, Goony and Fudge. Host of the show is MC Eleven.
Every dj brings his own flavour too the show, sometimes joined by national and international guests.

As members of the WARRIORZ collective all people involved in the radioshow also have a past (and present) in the Belgian drum’n’bass scene. We’ve been organizing parties for about 10 years now with well known internatinal guests (Amit Uk – Outrage Uk – Break Uk – Silent Witness Uk - SKC Hun – Keaton Uk – Friction Uk - and more…)
With the AFTER 12 radioshow we started promoting dubstep parties in 2006. Some smaller parties with local dj’s and bigger events with international guests.

On an autumnal morning in 1975 an unwanted baby was left on the doorstep of a convent in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. Raised by nuns and dubbed 'Sitezen' the child soon developed a passion for the haunting music of the sisters. Spurred on by the depraved sexual practices witnessed there he stayed well into his twenties, working mainly as a handyman and occasionally delivering God's (and sometimes Jesus') more private messages to each nun individually.
Secretly training in Cubase from his early teens on an Atari ST stolen from a dying parishioner, Sitezen worked extensively on creating musical patterns and textures inspired by his dark, sheltered existence. 'Slow Grey Nightmare' is the story of this boys life. Do not judge him.
To celebrate our three forthcoming releases, we take over Brussels Congrès Station, filling it with a sizzling blend of electronic beats. Thin Consolation, Sin Constellation....
