| About A Five Fold Kiss |
T, provides the recording and production experience from his home studio, he was a bit of a child prodigy and has been playing in bands since the tender age of 15. Monique on the other hand is new to the music scene however, her beautifully honest lyrics, flowing melodies and natural singing style have a maturity beyond her years. A Five Fold Kiss is principally a studio band but they have been known to do the odd open mic night at the local bars and pubs on the Sunshine Coast just for fun.
There's a bit of a dark eccentric side to A Five Fold Kiss. Firstly the band is named after an occult ceremony. Secondly, both band members are a little bit crazy, she's a self confessed mad poet and incurable romantic, he's a mad scientist obsessed with hi-fi, computers and electronic music.
This on the surface it would seem makes for a dangerous combination. But somehow out of this strange union, when Monique's heart felt lyrics and melodies are combined with T's dark, lush electronic sounds, a wonderfull combination of story and sound is formed which they hope touches your emotions and finds a connection with some part of your own experiences.
The Band's philosophy is to show listeners that there is still some music magic out there waiting to be heard. They want to create new listening experiences for their fans with both interesting sounds, touching lyrics and quality recordings.
