This page is dedicated to the music and other happenings at the Church of the Advent in Boston MA. Perhaps the one thing which most identifies the Advent is its glorious liturgy, the supreme expression of its faith. From the very foundation of the parish in 1844, the Advent has sought to worship the Lord in "the beauty of holiness and the holiness of beauty." Whether at daily Mass in the Lady Chapel, or in the ancient and beautiful liturgies of Holy Week, the liturgy has enriched and even restored the faith of generations of worshippers. Known for its ethereal music, superb acoustics, ancient gothic architecture and powerful spirituality the Advent has been a strong force in Boston in Massachusetts and the world.
How wonderful it is, how pleasant, for God's people to live together in harmony! ~Father, I want you to use me to help build real fellowship in my church. Help me to be authentic with others and not wear a mask. Teach me to show sympathy to those who are hurting and offer mercy to those who have stumbled.~ +Peace Love Blessings
