I am ~AO~ is who she is...some say that breaking into the music business is a mix of hard work and luck. This lies true for ~AO's~ experience of being discovered. Before her major breakthrough, ~AO~ spent most of her time writing, taking voice and dance lessons. ~AO~ studied the music business and the work it took to make it in the field. At the age of 14, her parents started a management company called Hadiya Entertainment that promoted ~AO's~ talents to major labels and A&R representatives. To our surprise, ~AO~ and management were blessed with an opportunity to meet with a former R&B recording artist who moved to Seattle from Atlanta by way of her boyfriend who played for the Sonics and then was introduced to ~AO~ by a mutual hair stylist (fate). With the help of this good friend, she sent ~AO's~ demo to Atlanta based producers, The Platinum Brothers (J.Holiday/J.Lo). AO's demo sat in their studio for a short while until they brought her to the attention of a well known record label executive who was attracted to AO;s photo as it was told, then impressed by her one track demo.
Within 24 hours ~AO~ and her management was flown to Atlanta to cut a track and quickly offered a deal that same day. Anthony "TA" Tate was the CEO of Music Line Group/Capitol Records. Tate is known for his discovery of Ciara and J. Holiday. Within two months, ~AO~ was recording at the famous Tricky Stewart's RED ZONE STUDIOS (Dream/Tricky) where hits were made for Britney Spears, Rhianna (Umbrella) and many other famous artists. Adriane has been working diligently recording and performing at many prestigious venues including the NBA All-Star Vegas, the famous Memphis Bluesville, various professional sporting events, and other major functions. ~AO~ carries a distinct raspy, silky voice that differentiates her from the rest. ~AO's~ teen appeal, style and grace has given her a diverse fan base. She states, "I am a fan of my fans".
Her biggest influences were meeting and being mentored for a day by hit-makers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. She states, "They instilled in me that I could do anything and not change for anyone...sharing with everyone the REAL "me". Despite the merging situation with her label, ~AO~ enjoys the hustle and bustle of the music industry and the support of her fans. This is her motivation and her zeal to record great music. Adriane believes she was called to this arena...to deliver peace, hope and joy to people's lives. She states, "GOD will make room for my talent."
