Ayant emprunté son nom à la déesse celte de la guerre et de la victoire, adorée dans certaines tribus antiques, ADRASTE rassemble la violence et le radicalisme glacial du black metal ainsi que la spiritualité du paganisme celte à travers des textes écrit en français.

L'ensemble des textes est fondé sur des récits martiaux historiques ainsi que sur le panthéon gaulois. Le groupe effectue un réel travail de souvenir de nos racines et prône un renouveau des anciennes traditions.

Le groupe est musicalement influencé par la scène pagan black allemande, scandinave et française, ainsi que la scène depressive black, entre autres représentées par des groupes tels que Belenos, Drudkh, Seth, Temple of Baal, Helrunar,Kampfar,Angantyr, Nocturnal Depression, Dornenreich, Immortal, Bathory, Taake, etc...

ADRASTE à eu l'occasion de jouer dans diverses salles de France et de Belgique. Le groupe cherche activement à jouer dans toute la France ainsi que dans toute l'Europe.

ADRASTE à eu l'immense honneur de jouer avec ANGANTYR, NOCTURNAL DEPRESSION, et TEMPLE OF BAAL, et jouera prochainement avec GLORIOR BELLI, SETH et BELENOS, fondateur national du style et NUMEN.ADRASTEwas born in March 2010 from the musical union of the guitarist andsinger, Fea and Sukellos, at drums. Lugos joined them at the 4strings in March 2011.

Theband borrowed its name from the Celtic goddess of war and darkfeminity « ADRASTE » wich has been beloved in ancientribes. ADRASTE brings the violence and the icy radicalism of blackmetal as well as the spirituality of Celtic Paganism through textswritten in French.

Allof the texts are based on paganism, dark rituals, celtic poetry,historical martial accounts and mythology as the Gaulish pantheon.The group releases a real work in remembering its celtic roots and inadvocating a revival of ancient traditions.
