Acutones have successfully made a name for themselves through their appealing mix of melodic, head bopping, pop funk tunes.
Sharing their love for pop, blues, jazz and R&B Acutones have crafted a fresh and exciting sound that is continually gaining more appreciation from fans and critics alike.
After causing a stir playing in the smaller venues across Glasgow, Acutones have quickly scaled up to larger audiences playing at locations such as George Square (BBC Blast event), Glasgow Green (Maydaze Festival) and the Carling Academy among others.
They are currently playing around Glasgow and the rest of UK with recent gigs including Argyle Football Stadium in Plymouth supporting Westlife, main stage at the Epsom Derby with Hot Chocolate and the Burns Festival in Ayr.

Alright Lads, firstly, fuck them judges last night, clueless talentless twats, you boys are as funky as fuck and don't need to change 1 thing about your sound, secondly get onto our page and add The Whitefriars Beer Festival, its at the bottom of our top friends, we're headlining the next one in about 2 n a half months, I'm gonna personally call Neil the guys who runs it and the coolest promoter you'll ever meet and recomend you's guys get a slot same day as us, so get some tunes up on the myspace quick as you can so he can hear for himself or if you have any CD's get in touch wi me and I'll arrange to get one off you's and I'll send it to him, you's will love this gig guys and you'll get a crowd of music lovers who realise what talent is when they see it.
