General

Ian Mcwethy (playwright) is a frustrated, bitter former actor. After years of disappointment, he found himself at a 1:15 matinee of The Devil Wears Prada, and became determined to take the same whistle blowing tactic to his former profession. His writing has been seen at such acclaimed venues as the corner of 46th and 8th, his parents house(where he still resides) and various coffee shops around the city. He is currently working on his memoirs, entitled, "My Career is Over, and it Never Started!" and is shopping his new play, "Writers Aren't Much Better".

Michael Kimmel (director) is amazingly important. Seriously. He is so good, he can't even list the shows he's done because it would blow your mind. Literally. He has achieved greatness in a relatively short time, and the only reason you don't know him is because sometimes he directs under his other name, Peter Brook.

PUSH PRODUCTIONS, INC.

ACTORS ARE F*@#ING STUPID is a dark comedy – an unapologetic look at a few super-hot young actors who will do anything to get cast. It is set during the final callbacks for an MTV-produced feature film, in which four actors do anything in order to assure getting cast. The action goes back and forth between the waiting room and the auditioning room, until every monologue has been emoted, every lie has been revealed, and every shred of dignity has been given. This play lovingly takes a look at all the worst elements of the business.
