about the GREEN FROG CAFE ACOUSTIC TAVERN...
Beer. Music. Peanuts. These are the three essential ingredients to having a great time at the Green Frog Cafe Acoustic Tavern (which is a tavern, not a band).
We feature 23 delectable fermented beverages on tap, all which hail from the West Coast. We take great pride and joy in selecting the finest ales and lagers for your drinking pleasure. You are bound to find something that interests your palate.
The variety of music that graces our humble establishment is down right mind-boggling. We have live music every night of the week from all sorts of genres. The musicians that come through our door are not always well known, but always worth a listen. Please come down and support them.
The one thing that separates us from the masses is that we provide instruments for our customers to play. Guitars, banjo, mandolin, piano, bass...we have them all. The stage is open for anyone that wishes to play (unless, of course, there is a scheduled performer on it). The amount of talent in the Bellingham area is incredible and it is truly a joy to provide a venue for those without one.
This has become a peanut bar. The peanuts used to be free, but then we realized we gave away 9000.00 dollars worth of the salty legumes last year. You still get to throw the shells on the floor, but you might think twice about using them to peg your friends across the bar. After all, they were originally intended for consumption.
