Acoustic Stories is Lead by 80 Pound Dyno Vocalist, writer and recording artists Maria Wade whom has been performing professionally and opening for many National Pop and R&B artists such as Ready for the World, Roger Zapp and many more since the Age of 13 delivering a powerful performance every time she graces the stage singing tunes of all Genres that shocks and mesmerizes the audiences every time a note hits the air.  Maria has been compared to vocalists such as Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Bonnie Riatt, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morrisette and there have even been comments of her being a female Robert Plant.

Chris has been a musician for over 30 years, a multi-instrumentalist (19 and the list is still growing), stage and recording veteran with thousands of performances.  He’s been a front-man/sideman in over 35 bands during his career.  Chris has a degree in music, and is a 2 time Musician’s Institute graduate.  He is also an accomplished teacher, a prolific song writer, vintage guitar & amplifier authority, and Rock & Roll history aficionado.  The list goes on and on.  Chris has shared the stage with a wide variety of industry veterans such as Merle Haggard, Zak Wilde, Tony Bennett, and Greg Bissonette just to name a few.  You can currently find Chris performing with Acoustic Stories.

Delaney is  is a multi-talented percussionist / conga player/recording artist by the age of 9 years old with over 20 years of experiencing performing with gospel recording artists such as Wanda Nero Butler, Who’s Who of the Detroit’s Music Scene also studying Afro-Cuban rhythms with world famous James Bongo and opening for recording artists such as Little Brother and The Williams Brothers. He is currently a member of the band for recording artists Salt & Peppa. When he is not on the road he is performing with Acoustic Stories or the Wade Band.

As a full time musician, bassist/guitarist Eric Stang has been playing in bands since the age of 14 opening for Bands Such as Motorhead, Typo Negative, Jason Bohnam Band, and Overkill just to name a few.  A Metro Detroit native, Eric writes and performs original and popular cover songs.  Since recovering from severe Carpal Tunnel in both hands, he has performed over 100 shows in the last 8 months.  That doesn’t include over 1,000 performances in the last 16 years.  You can currently find Eric performing with Acoustic Stories, Wade Street Band and Ben Scott.

A Veteran of the Armed Forces (Army) Ben was stationed in Babenhausen Germany 13 MO Multiple Launch Rocket Systems, E5 Sergeant Field Artillery.  Ben worked for Chrysler for 12 years, and has recently taken a buyout.      Ben started out playing bass at age of 13, and later switched to guitar.  He also plays piano and drums, has a solo acoustic act and also plays in an acoustic 3 piece cover band.  Ben has not limited himself, and has played in every kind of band from cover to original, top 40 to alternative rock.  Ben has about 40 original songs he’s written in just about every kind of genre there is.   He now owns a studio, http://benscottsoundz.com/ .  Ben Scott Soundz LLC was created to give artists/bands an opportunity to record their music at an affordable rate.
