Early influences : anyone that knows me will agree that REO SPEEDWAGON is the group that was IT. then follows groups like Triumph, Humble Pie, Riot!
In-between here there was a lot of underground METAL!
Slayer, Merciful Fate, Lizzy Borden ...respectfully!
Mid-influences : Tesla, Queensryche, David Mullen, Melissa Etheridge (Melissa was that every-bit-about-her moved me. I think I learned how to "deliver" the song from her....awesome!)
oh yeah.......REO SPEEDWAGON!
And what has kept me on my Journey : Corrosion of Conformity (COC) has moved me like no other. Love the Groove! let's see.. Chris Tomlin, as of late but C.O.C. has, hands-down, been the great motivater................................& (still REO).

Sounds Like
YOU TELL ME..! Some have said Neil Young. I really don't know. Now, I am not trying to suggest that "my sound" is different or unique, because we all play the same chords...(unless you play classical or Jazz, respectively).
But I will say that my changes are unorthodox! Take a Listen..! and, YOU TELL ME !!
A singer / songwriter who now performs as as a solo... not because I think I am all that, but because there is no band! Was always the front man in all the bands I played with... so the transition was very easy for me. I had a grip of new tunes that I just had to play in front of a "raw" audience. so, I got a gig at a local bar, and it has just snowballed from there...
About a good year and a half ago, I have finally relinquished my heart to Christ! (it had been a long-time calling). At the beginning of last year, I had layed down the music (to see where Christ was going to lead me). And, with ALL GLORY TO GOD, I have been encouraged to pick it up again! PRAISE HIM!
So, even though it is still just me and my acoustic guitar... I am not alone. I have the Spirit of GOD within me. Giving HIM Praise. I am playing and singing better than ever... for HIS GLORY!!

Yeah, Borrego Springs is east of San Diego just on the other side of the mountain range. ATVs are so much fun! The party was a blast too. Great people, great music, and a good time for all.

There comes a time in your christian walk, when God blesses you so much, that you cannot keep still. You have to let go, and let the Spirit of the Lord, have His way, with some good old time "Praise!" I..m talking about a "Hallelujah Praise!" A handclapping, footstomping, devil killing, tongue talking, I..ve got the "Victory" praise!
Hi friend, As you may know, I am going back to Des Moines, Iowa in late October. I'll be helping my sister help our folks get through the winter. I may be back in Southern California next summer. It depends on how things go. I won't be teaching World Religions any more. But I will be testing water and selling water treatment systems for Rain Soft of Des Moines. Before I head out to Des Moines, I am taking a vacation. Actually, I am off work now. I'm flying to the Philippines right after Labor Day in September. I'll be visiting friends, attending art and music events, and doing a little surfing. Then I'll fly back Oct. 3, take care of business, play and sing with several music groups at the first ever Redlands Music Festival, Oct. 21 at The Redlands Bowl, and then start driving after that. I'll miss you. It's been great knowing you and I hope you will keep in touch by email etc. Between now and then, I will be playing music at several events. I would like to see you before I go. If you can make it this Sat., it would be great. I'll be playing with Spiro Nicolopoulos accoustic and with his band after that. That's Sat. Aug 25, 9pm-2am at The Vault. lol Nice I hear that whoop! Glory (waving the hankie ha ha) for real that's good we all still need to learn things and be reminded that GOd is GOd and we are not.. we can definitely cant do anything on our own that's for sure. Im soo happy its still on and IN HIS TIME!!!
