ah, the Northwest is que indeed. i've heard the Portland area is pretty good w/ networks like this. thanks for all the info, it'll give me something to chew on here in the next year or so. how's the art coming along?
it's certainly making me think about some options here. i have a few States i'm looking at right now that i'm considering either starting anew or staying and just doing a lateral transfer. but, i like the area of being away from the city (but still near civilization) and near the mountain area; would you happen to know if there's that sense and appreciation for creativity and art there? we had considered Michigan, but realized it's a dying economy up there. we stayed near the Ann Arbor area in the past. it's a pretty tight place, but many people are simply leaving the area because of declining growth in other areas of employment, that's unless you're into engineering.
most definitely. i think more than anything i'd like to in between the Rockies and outside any closest city. i find my solitude more w/ nature than i do w/ the nearest skyscraper. a good balance is what i'm looking for. are most people more drawn to the northern portion of Colorado, or is the other way around. are there any differences between the two?
Oh no problem, I'm glad I could help. I know way too much about the 360 lol. Sorry to hear about your mp3 player! I hate not being able to listen to music when I want to, blah. Hopefully you'll have better luck with the next one, lol.
it's a rather ingenious slogan. add the word "BOO-YAH!" at the end of it.
mmm, powerful.
i've been contemplating looking at possibly relocating w/in a year or two. Jen and i are big nature buffs. would you recommend Colorado as a prospective place to move to from New York?
Yeah, I'm still trying to get back to myself, I'm getting better. I'm talking to more people now. When I first got out here I didn't really talk to anyone I still felt like I wasn't allowed to do anything, I was basically in a prizon the past two years, & I wasn't allowed to talk to my friends at all. Hopefully with enough shock therapy I'll be back to my old self sooner rather than later. :)
Lol, aww sounds like you need someone like me to tell you how xbox live works. :) Basically you pay 50 bucks for a yearly membership if you want to pay online. There are other accounts you can get that are free but you can't play online with your friends.
You don't have to pay to be connected to xbox live though, you just have to be hooked up to the internet just like a computer. It's up to you if you want to pay the yearly membership you can still have friends and talk to them without having to pay a fee you just can't actually play any games with anyone online. Now there are 3 different types of x boxes & they are separated into memory. The cheapest xbox 360 is a 20 gig harddrive, I'm not sure of the size of the hard drive on the 360 priced in the middle. The elite is for major gamers like me that need lots of space for game saves it gives you 120 gigs of space.
With all of the updates xbox live makes you get you only get about 100 gigs of space that you can actually use for games, demos, gamer pictures, shit there's a lot of shit you can get on xbox live.
Alrighty, I seem to have written you a short story here sorry! :)
Hey Adam! Just thought I'd post you a comment while I was on. I heard you were considering getting a xbox 360 if you do let me know, I'm always online playing something.
Sorry I didn't get ahold of you earlier and let you know that I was back, I've just been through a lot of shit lately and I haven't really talked to very many people. I guess I'm still trying to get used to being "allowed" to talk to my friends again.
Well, I didn't want to leave a book or anything so I'll wrap this up, hit me up sometime man! TTYL!! :)
self-publishing is not a bad gig to follow. we did our first self-published project back in 05. we're working on another gig here to be released sometime next year.. more anthology based. as soon as my rear is done w/ this latest degree, i'm hoping to get back on board w/ individual projects, but hopefully, by then, w/ a legit publisher just because of the whole marketing aspect of it all. it does take a whole lot of effort to get yourself recognized outside of the immediately area. i still like doing the conventions. i only get to illustrate once a week, just because of the amount of school and work combined.. usually either Friday or Saturday (only for a few hours). in a perfect scenario w/ no distractions or work involved, i can log in about 12hrs, but i know i won't be seeing those days for a long while, not until after school is done.
Daaaaamn you suck! I beat GoW2 shortly after it was released. You should totally play Guitar Hero it's a lot of fun. And RE5 looks damn sexy, I guess the zombies/monsters are going to be able to smash through walls to come get your ass when you hide, like I know you will you girl.
Not a whole lot, B is indeed back and sings pretty well on Rock Band. And since I kick so much ass on the guitar she's gonna make me help her get achievements n'shit. Haven't had but one opportunity to kick it with her though.
that is very cool! thanks for the link; i got to see a bit of the happenings there. i'm sad to see this weekend come to a close. good luck w/ those 6 scripts; do you have a publisher in mind, or are you going to self-publish this creation of yours. look forward to seeing it!
Well, I'm told I'm kind of insensitive about death, I always think the dead ones are the lucky ones. But yeah I understand where you're coming from, and truth be told: nothing really matters except the impact you have on the people around you, even that might not matter anymore because no one cares about respect or honor or morals.
sorry i haven't been in touch much.. just been too damn busy. how was San Diego? did you get to see and meet any cool people there.. i heard that the actor Samuel Jackson was there for one of the days. i ended up leaving DeviantArt just because i kept having password issues. i ended up transferring my work over to TokyoPop's server. it's not too bad; not as fast as DeviantArt's and i miss some of the people on there.. i got some really good art critiques. well, nuff said about this before i make this into a book on here. later, dude.
