Acariya as a band has a very family oriented perspective, and an overall message of self empowerment. These messages, along side their outstanding musicianship, and mind blowing live performances, helped them clench their nomination by one of the largest news papers in New England (The Phoenix) for "Best Loud Act". They have performed at shows and radio stations for the sole purpose of raising awareness and acquiring food donations for veterans charities, and were recently featured on the front page of a local paper for the efforts they and Hold True Recordings have put forth for their benefit work.
Their self titled debut, "Acariya" features 7 tracks of epic metal which crosses barriers ranging from Power Metal, to Grind to Prog. Thought provoking and challenging, this album is a refreshing change from the typical.
