Fiona stood quietly as she watched you open the gate with no struggles. She then folded her hands together as she moved beside you. Hewie stood by Fiona's side, never leaving it. "So.. in we go.." She said softly.
It was raining nonstop outside. Fiona was losing her patience. Visitors were leaving and running to their cars as quickly as possible. Not noticing the time until it was too late, it was past visiting hours. Fionas' face grew hot as she sat there, embarrassed. Her pup Hewie had been asleep at her feet for awhile now. She did not want to wake him up, since he looked . . rather peaceful. Taking in a deep breath, she released all of her anxiety out in a soft, low groan. She blinked a couple of times, due to dust or an eyelash being stupid on her. BOOM. A loud crash of thunder danced in the sky outside. It made Hewie jump up. Part of the hospital felt like it was shaking a little from the thunder. The woman at the reception desk sighed and rustled some papers. She looked up at the glass window above her, seeing heavy rain beat at it. Why had they built the room with a glass ceiling above the desks? The woman groaned back in response to the thunder, trying to imitate it quite badly. The woman stood up and cleared her throat rather loudly. Must have been a signal for Fiona to look at her instead of trying to wish the rain would disappear. Fiona stood up and almost slipped on the wet ground. Funny how Fiona did not realize that people were entering the hospital and leaving it with wet boots and shoes. Fiona walked cautiously to the woman, as if the woman was about to pull a knife out on Fiona. "Can you do me a quick favor, dear? I have to watch the desk and make several calls. Can you please run these up to the second floor and give them to a woman named Felicia?" she handed the papers to Fiona. Fiona took them slowly, as if a bomb might be in them . . . somehow. Fiona looked at the names on the list. Wonder what this was for? Fiona wanted to be a good soul and take them to this woman . . Felicia. Fiona tip-toed to the elevators, still being cautious of the wet floors, and pushed up to go up to floor two.
1/7 After they surrounded his jeep all of them in a crazed frenzy, the young rookie cop had no choice but to retreat seeing as a whole full clip from his 9mm standard issue didn’t do a damn thing to that woman or what ever it was. These people were obviously dead since most of them were missing pieces of their bodies and others skins were damaged to a point were it went beyond decay. Spotting a clearing to his right that would lead into an alley; the young cop broke into a running pushing through a crowd of 6 “zombies. While he rushed through the empty cold dark alley he began to think. –This is insane, zombies aren’t real. Right?- -Of course they aren’t but now they are.- -and as of now they think you’re an all you can eat buffet.- The sarcasm really didn’t help since he felt his fingers begin to tremble and soon he wouldn’t have a steady hand to use his 9mm in the case he had to fire it again. –But what was with that woman, I shot her point blank in the chest, why was she still walking towards me.- The gloomy moonlight shone down on the darkness of the city. The whole town was going crazy and from the distance Leon could see people running away for their lives. These things were apparently everywhere. Where did they come from? Whatever the reason were his main point now was to escape the town. He kept running down the alley until he got on the other side of the building, he came onto a street where the site was just too crazy to comprehend. People were on the ground eating other people and he even saw a truck crash into a light pole casing the pole to crush the front windshield of the truck. Sparks escaped through the torn cables and pretty soon the truck caught on fire.
2/7 There were a few of those things coming from out of an electronics store all bloody and raising their hands up high moaning and without any sense of understanding. Clearly they had very little or no intelligence at all, it seems that their only motive is to find living flesh to feed on. At least this was what Leon was able to pick up so far. Screams came close from his left and he turned around to see that there was a woman getting out of her car and two of those things were hot on her trail. Leon quickly aimed his weapon and fired at the attackers, not surprising the bullets had no effect and they kept on coming. They were almost close to the woman when Leon decided to try a different point to attack. He aimed at one of the attacker’s forehead and fired a round. It penetrated through his head piercing through it easily. The zombie fell on its knees and then flat on its stomach and did not get back up. –That’s it! - Headshots seemed to stop them dead in their tracks. He proceeded to fire again at the second zombie and was able to save the woman. The woman was dressed like a reporter of some sort. She was so terrified and she kept running straight towards a clearing. –Wait! It’s not safe come back!- Leon yelled out but the woman gave him no attention continuing on her attempts to escape. He turned around to face the chaos which was quickly spreading through the town of Raccoon. He continued on his way to find out what was going on, his destination was the R.P.D. after all. He was suppose to report to a officer by the name of Marvin, but couldn’t remember his last name. Leon knew Kevin Ryman of the police force and was also suppose to be his temporary partner until Leon was able to familiarize himself with the town.
3/7The current problem was no doubt these things and also the fact that he couldn’t find a working unit anywhere around. –Where are all the other cops?- He crossed a street avoiding being noticed by a small crowd that was stumbling against each other. It was weird how these things were able to identify the living with their own. How on earth did they know how was alive and who was like them. This detected some sort of intelligence or maybe it was just that the living had something in their bodies that drove the undead to want to eat only the while they were still alive, this was the only reasonable thing Leon had to offer himself to keep his sanity. He reached the corner of a street called Davis and its cross partner street labeled “Faris St.” Leon was very low on his ammunition and decided it was best to quickly find the Police Station to resupply and mainly figure out what the hell is going on in this town. Old enough there were hardly any living people around for him to see, it was mostly the zombies that were roaming around, it was very clear that this city was now The City of The Dead, it now belonged to them he they had taken over. The rookie cop ran across the street and in between the buildings yet again venturing into dark deserted alleys were no zombies were lurking by. He held a firm and strong grip on his Hand Gun keeping a sharp eye in his surroundings. He walked past by a large green dumpster that smelled awfully bad. The stench was almost to a point were it was overwhelming to the human nose. Leon gagged for a few seconds and covered his nose with one hand. He reached a part in the alley were there was a fence on the right side heading west. Across the fence was a basketball court and in the court were 5 of those things walking in circles.
4/7 Leon moved quickly passed the fence heading towards the end of the alley. He met with a door at the end of the alley and opened it to get across. Closing the door behind him he found himself now on another street but this one was narrow and the road ahead was barricaded. 2 police units were wrecked against each other in the corner of the street with the light pole smashed right on top of them. The vehicles were covered in blood and a bunch of newspaper articles flew freely in the cool wind. As refreshing as the wind felt it didn’t smell all too pleasant. The flow of the wind was also followed by that flow of rot and putrid blood. Leon stopped in his tracks just in the corner of the street and looked to his left. There was a clear passage was that would lead him to lower downtown and to his right in and in front of him the streets were completely barricaded. A small sighed escaped from his mouth as he grew desperate to get to The R.P.D. but he didn’t know his way around Raccoon and he surely wasn’t expecting to run into Hell’s Valley U.S.A. But to what extend would his sanity last in him he wondered. He walked over to the crashed police units and he reached for the door in hopes that there was a shotgun or a rifle inside in the back, knowing how cops always carried back up artillery in their units he had high hopes of finding something stronger then his 9mm. As he reached for the door his fingers were only inches away when the door busted open and a zombie jumped out with its arms extended out reaching for Leon. This creature was set ablaze and was heading right for Leon. With quick instinct and timed reaction, the young cop moved out of the way and aimed his 9mm to its back and fired a round blasting half it’s temple off from its skull.
5/7 This one met the ground and the same fate as the 2 before it. At least he knew how to stop them but what if he ran into another crowd again before he got to the station. He was low on ammo and filled with 100th’s of questions. He continued on towards his only alternative route ready for anything that came his way. Finding himself unlucky and still with the same weapon he opened the green rusted gate in front of him and walked into the empty alley heading for lower downtown. This alley was also very narrow and the only difference was that the floor was no cement but a mere old boarded walkway of some sort. He was walking in steady paces amazed that his feet weren’t shaking considering that he was in a strange place he has never been in, it was dark, there were weird zombies attacking and killing people, and Leon couldn’t find the police station. –What an awesome way to start your carrier here in Raccoon.- -I wonder what other goodies are in store for you Leon.- Again his sarcasm didn’t help at all but at least it was letting him know that he was doing his best to keep his sanity. Upon reaching halfway across the boarded walkway he saw a wooden door burst open from the left of he wall ahead of him and a man ran past by covered in blood and armed with a 9mm. The man looked like an ordinary civilian but also looked very much hurt. Chasing close by were a group of 7 zombies all of them coming from out of the door heading towards the direction the wounded man went. The wounded man took the route ahead of him that was Leon’s left. Leon ran towards the scene to try and help the man but he was already long gone through a door below at the end of a few stairs steps leading down a few feet.
6/7 Along that trail Leon saw a few pots of dirt and in them “Green Herbs” were growing, a species of plants native only to this region of The Mid-West. Leon reached down and picked them up and placed them in his inventory. He wasn’t all that about knowing medicine but he knew quite well enough to know that these herbs were for healing almost all kinds of wounds taken to the body, non lethal ones to be precise. He turned his attention to the door that burst open fist and wondered what was in there. He walked over to the door and walked in to see that it was a set of stairs that lead down to his right. There were no zombies around and he walked down to the end of the steps below. He turned and found that it was only a mere storage room for small tools and a few cases of wine bottles. The most unusual item stored in here was that of a body of an officer. Leon bent down to examine his cause of death. The man had multiple deep lacerations to his throat and he apparently bleed to death. His face had an expression of terror letting Leon know that this man’s last expression was pure terror before he died. For a moment Leon stared at the dead officer knowing that he would have surely met this person in the station had events not been so different. The dead officer had his arms crossed and held something in them. The man was holding a standard 12-guage Remington Shotgun, Leon grabbed it and checked the chamber. The weapon was fully loaded and there was a box of shells on the ground. Leon picked up the box and found only 6 rounds in it. He checked the body for anything useful and to his changing luck he found a lighter and a handful of shells. He placed all this in his inventory and after checking for any further items that could be useful he walked back to the alley and began to head towards the door were the wounded man ran to.
7/7 -I have to find that guy, perhaps he knows were the damn police station is.- Now that he was armed with a rather powerful weapon his trembling fingers began to ease and now he had his steady arm back and this time if he did encounter a group of zombies, well he would just blow them away with his new friend. He reached the end of the alley trail were the other man went and slowly opened the door. He walked into what seemed to be a small tailor shop. It was empty and there wasn’t anyone around in sight. –Hello?- -Is anyone in here?- -This the police is there anyone alive in here.- Leon waited for a few seconds but all he got in return was pure haunted silence. An eerie echo of screeching broke the silence and Leon quickly discovered the source of the sound. There was a zombie leaning against the glass window looking inside staring at Leon. It appeared to be in an advanced stage of decay and it would only be a matter of time before it completely collapsed. The man he was looking for was not in here and this was a shame since Leon really wanted to help him and possibly lead him to The Hospital and maybe on the way the man could have pointed out the R.P.D. for him. It seemed that Leon’s only alternative was to head back into the streets and try and find any survivors. He was doing well on his own so far but it would be twice as easy if you had someone with you in these times of insanity and horror. What exactly is going on in this town? He was now determined to find out for himself. He advanced through the front door of the tailor shop and into the streets of Raccoon City. Taking a deep breath he began to move quickly across the street.
Fiona gave a sigh as she kicked the ground. "Hm.. well i need to find something.. something has to be usful.." She said softly as her eyes scaned there surroundings.
