WMUC is the college radio station at the University of Maryland, College Park, broadcasting on the air at 88.1 FM and online at WMUCRadio.com. Free-form and student-run, WMUC is the last FM radio station of its kind in the Washington DC area - and we're not going away.
All of our DJs are students and volunteers who play the music that they like. Our diverse program has something for everybody: rock, jazz, hiphop, folk, indie, punk, metal, dance, electronic, noise, world, psych, you name it! Check out our schedule to see what we have to offer!
WMUC accepts music submissions from any and all artists. We don't discriminate against genres. Everything is fair game, and if it's good, we'll play it! If it's bad... one of our shows might still play it!
We also host live shows at the station on our weekly Third Rail Radio program, airing every Sunday from 6pm-9pm EST. Bands who are interested in performing on the air, get in touch!
