CLassical to oldies, country to blues....no real influence
Just love oldies, country, southern and classic rock.
Maybe bit partial to James Bond moviescores.
Sounds Like
Keyboard /Piano style - my piano teacher....doctorate from
Northwestern Univ., Evanston Il.
my vocals - Rosie and Originals, Skeeter Davis, Karen Carpenter
I am an impressionist so I have a variety of sounds.
Classically trained Female Keyboardist/vocalist, flashy stage presence,
Las Vegas Style Image, love oldies, country, southern and classic rock.
I have enjoyed performing on vegas strip as backup singer in an
R&B band, have played in numerous strip casinos, played concert
for all the VIPS at Sunset station outdoor concert, have enjoyed
doing "The Divine Divas Show" hired by the incredible mentor
Musical Director/keyboardist Pierre Jovan. He & I have also done
numerous casinos shows as 5pc band top 40. also performing out
on the road with few top country artist national touring was interesting.
I was also awarded top Female Keyboardist in vegas twice between
2000-2003. Kathleen is known by many artists and musicians there.
I enjoyed writing Halloween movie scores for Lt Gov of NV mansion
party with Evil Knevil giving a speech/ I performed my movie score
he was angered by 9/11 attack on twin towers. I will never forget
Evil's handshake and his smile talking to me. I have toured not only
Carribean on Princess Cruiseships touring Jamaica, Bermuda, Costa
Rica, Panama canal, South America, enjoying the sights. Also toured
in Reaggae band, also top 40 country band Mrytle Beach, to SC, NC,
in other bands NM, AZ, TX, WY, NV,MT.etc. Moved to So CA Oct/2006
started "The Breeze band" a mini tribute to Skynard, CCR, Stones,
Stevie Ray Vaughn and other artists. I also have been classified
as a "Hired Gun" played with a top Inland empire bands. Kathleen
is also playing with "Sassafrass" a top 40 band doing corporate
and private parties. Kathleen is doing some studio sessions currently
and working on her own band called
The Real Deal" a classic rock band,
and also enjoys being a hired gun. Kathleen is hopefully going into the studio working on some original and re makes of songs and
could be released by end of this yr. Her influences
are classical, country, blues, southern rock/classic rock, even
some heavy metal. Kathleen likes to listen to oldies, R&B and
who knows even power ballads sometimes. Kathleen would love
to go back to vegas to do some shows or even some road work
possibly working with major upcoming country artist out of Nashville
Troy Bullock.. Kathleen will be doing some possible concerts
playing keyboards, singing bkups, studio work with Troy. Kathleen
looks forward to playing the huge concerts and stadiums again.
Last concert was with "Spectrum" Las Vegas Oct/2003 at Paris
Hotel/Casino corp concert. Kathleen recalls playing back late
80's opening up for "Slaughter" wearing all black leather halter
top/black tight leather pants with chains, her image, playing in
the band "Thrust" for screaming head bangers. Kathleen enjoyed
the Pomona Fairgrounds, Salt Lake city's fairs, and all the road
tours sleeping in old buses, cramped rooms in small motels,
touring in vans going city to city barely making any monies to
making $400 wk thinking it was the lifestyle of a rock star.
Everybody that knows Kathleen E is amazed at her outgoing
attitude, smile, easy going attitude. Kathleen is the
Keyboard player that will make her keyboard dance.
Come and listen and do not be afraid. Come and be happy.
