Movies
Stranger than Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Think I've watched the Pick of Destiny way too many times, What the Bleep, The Secret, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars, Blade movies (3rd Blade wasn't great though, totally ruined the storyline), X-men movies, Forest Gump (reminds me of myself for some reason, Me, Myself and Irene. K-Pax because this movie also explains me somewhat. Anything with Adam Sandler.
Television
Ghosthunters. X-files, 24. Prison break. CSI Miami. Whatever my kids have on the weekends, spongebob, whatever crap is on.

I have not read anything good lately. Asides from my boring school books that I already know everything about.
Heroes
It's a cross between Jesus and Jack Bauer. Other than that, any hero is someone that can be a good dedicated PARENT, and be there for their kids no matter what.
