TERRY — lead guitar and zither

DAVID — drums

CASEY — the cute girlfriend

TAMBI — the manager

FREDDIE — the embezzling accountant

VIDEO PAT — groupie

VERONICA — jealous girlfriend with an M14

DARCY — lush and lusty record mogul’s wife

TIFF — assistant in charge of all the money and Katchoo’s Dr Pepper supply

LISA P — somewhat reliable wardrobe asst. to Francine

JOSE M — roadie in charge of driving the gopher-smashing truck

CHRIS M — official boytoy for the girls while on tour

FRIEND OF PLATO — band computer tech who dresses like a leprechaun at shows because it makes Katchoo laugh

OTIS S — tour photographer

JONATHAN C — the token cello player

feats of clay — holder of the autographing Sharpies

MICHAEL AKA HAPPYBUNNY — grouchy next door neighbor complaining about the rehearsal noise

OPTIMUS PRIMATE — that provocative dancer on stage playing the triangle

BRIAN P — visionary illuminator (aka lighting technician)

MROUTT — bass and catering (specifically: David’s sandwiches and art supplies)

SHEILA W — holistic masseuse/band mom

C.A. BRIDGES — wardrobe malfunction technician

JAZZY JEFF — groupie dude that does nothing but hang around in the background and drink Bud Lights

ROBERT M — hobo who accidentally snuck on the band bus and fell asleep

DIMITRIS N — headbutting bilingual bodyguard for when we need to headbutt people who only speak Italian

SEAN — maracas and "woo-woo"s (I’m really glad we found Sean, I was getting worried about our woo-woos)

KEAU D — band guru

DESHA D — musical director with a brassy french horn

GAIL B — bass clarinet and our secret comics provider

JETGIRL — Tambi’s bodyguard... obviously the most overpaid person on the crew

TASTY-PRAWN — clarinet, but not the bass clarinet, we’ve already got one of those

REG & FROST — kick-ass bodyguards in suits and cheap sunglasses

JOE H — naked guy who streaks at every concert and gets the crap beat out of him by our kick-ass bodyguards

DENISE W —the band’s tough-looking but arachnophobic cook specializing in really good grilled cheese sandwiches

KITTY — wicked keyboard and ocarina. Kitty is flexible. *ahem*

IAVI — Katchoo’s guitar roadie who keeps her gear in shape and hands her guitars one after another as she smashes them on the encores (sometimes a very dangerous job!)

MARTATES — our Dath Vader dressed sax player who also does our taxes and the grocery shopping for the buses

MIBBITMAKER — the one person who heard one of our songs played on Little Steven’s Underground Garage

THE LINSTER — the lucky person assigned the job of Buss Girl. Her sole job is to kiss Francine and Katchoo for good luck just before they go on stage. The Linster is easy to spot at the shows, she’s the one with the biggest smile.

PUCKSTER — Keyboard player who likes to help chef Denise W in the kitchen

LEE-ERIN — her job is to keep Casey from bugging Tambi when Tambi has to work, because you know how Casey gets. Sometimes this job involves swordplay.

DAVID P — the over-zealous accordian player. David has been know to get jiggy with it.

HOO — the token drunk chick in the front row who jumps about, arms flailing like a one-person mosh pit. Hoo is actually on staff and paid to do this because Katchoo thinks it’s funny.

Available Jobs:

—Somebody has to do laundry because Freddie changes underwear several times a day (we don’t know why)

— We need a couple of people to pretend to be locals who hang around the hotel lobby trying to get a glimpse of the band coming out of the elevator. You know, make it look like we’re popular

— We are in desperate need of neglected band wives who show up unannounced in Detroit at 9 AM and catch their mates in bed with 6 comatose groupies (as a bonus, you get to make a scene in a Four Seasons hotel)

— We need a truck driver who thinks we’re all nuts

— We need a mother who supported us back when we were playing parking lots in New Jersey

— and we could use more roadies to blow up the 60’ inflatable Francine that floats over the crowd. Unfortunately this must be done by mouth as we lost the air compressor in a poker game with the back-up band.

InfluencesEverybody who makes...

BOOKS (but not those How To books)

ART (but not the current school of fine art)

MUSIC (but not that sleazy guy who sells cheap guitars on the Home Shopping Network)

Sounds Like...teen spirit.

   About Terry Moore
I write, draw and self-publish the comic book ECHO, which made its debut March 2008. I’m also writing 2 books for Marvel; RUNAWAYS and SPIDER-MAN LOVES MARY JANE. No, I don’t know when they ship... they’re not scheduled yet.

Before this, from 1993-2007, I wrote, drew and self-published STRANGERS IN PARADISE. SiP was nominated for a lot of awards over the years, winning the Will Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series, the National Cartoonist’s Society Reuben Award for Best Comic Book and the GLAAD Award for Best Comic Book. SiP is published in 11 languages worldwide (which is a funny expression— what, it’s in 11 languages in Louisiana?).

Over the years I’ve also worked on other books for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, Top Cow and numerous indy press friends. A complete list can be found easily through Google because I don’t have press sheets ready about things like that. I’m too busy making the new things to be my own historian.

I made a band page here on MySpace because there isn’t a comic book creator’s format, or writers, or artists and I’d rather have a music based page than a generic blog. Maybe I’ll get Katchoo to record something for you.

When you’re done snooping around here, start checking out my friends below and discover some of the brightest talents in comics. If your favorite is not in here it’s probably because they don’t accept band pages— a grave error.

I am grateful to have another comic to add to my subscription, since not only SiP ended, but also Y: The Last Man, Welcome to Tranquility, Planetary, and more! Although I guess Planetary didn't count, since it came so rarely anyway...but still!!

Hi Terry!
I picked up my copy of Echo #2 and I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed it. I didn't purchase the first issue yet but it was really easy to follow along with the story.
The story can go so many ways and I'm interested to see just how sci-fi the story is gonna get.
Julie's dog is sooo adorable! Warm fuzzies all around.
Echo is definitely going to be an every month thing!

Hurry with SMLMJ! Your writing style with everyday people with their own issues thrown into an even bigger mix is top notch. I know the new issues of spidey are going to be fantastic.

Only two issues into it and already Echo is one of my "must read" books!

Great character build-up and pacing. Really looking forward to this as it develops.

I just read Echo #2. Man, that was a real entertaining read! The art is great, but besides that, the story is really exciting! There's a real tense build up of story with the suit and also her ex-husband. I also love the dog! But how can you blow up her awesome house next issue?! It seems like it'd be real cool to live there, but I'm sure she'd rather be living with her husband.

Anyway, I can't wait for the rest!

Hey Terry! I just finished reading the hardcover of Ultimate Marvel Teamup and I was pleasently surprised to see a story you penciled. It was the first time in a while that I haven't seen Fury act like an ass.
The Black Widow was checking out Spidey's exterior and so was I. Haha, no really, great art job, expecially Spidey and Black Widow.

Hey Terry, David here. (I commented below a couple times) Just wondering when the new SMLMJ is out! We know you're working hard on it, so we look forward to it.

Also, I asked Joe Quesada a question about you on the
Cup of Joe.
It's the third question!

Ahhhhh, gettin' my Terry fix on! So glad to have a new book in my hands . . . makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

And I simply MUST be in the entourage. I could always be one of those crazed stalker fans waiting at the backstage door at every concert 'til 4am. Can never have to many of those. I can beg and plead and cling with the best of'm.

See what you can do . . .

I am proud to be a member of the band, and I shall get to work immediately designing breakaway clothes and FCC-flaunting stage sets.
Rock on!

I was flipping though Echo last week. I've always loved your art style. Terry Moore is doing superheroes? interesting. Have you checked out Jeff Smith's new book Rasl? Does this book have a set ending to it ? How long will you do this project? Is Echo the only super in this new world you created? please let me know.
I'm interested in where this series will go from here. Take Care.
Thomas.
