People always ask what kind of music Ten Thousand Dollar Ego plays. The answer is a resounding yes!
A melding of five like minded musicians/actors/artists, Ten Thousand Dollar Ego was formed out of frustration. They channeled this frustration into song and dance - mostly song, with some residual dance. OK fine, dancing included. But I digress.
Bringing influences ranging from Faith No More, Public Image Ltd., Prince, Bauhaus, Mindless Self Indulgence, Type O Negative, and thousands more, they quickly wrote enough songs to fill an album - currently being recorded - and explosive live shows. The songs regularly switch from heartfelt to tongue in cheek - sometimes within the same song!
