Hello my name is Tena Renee', representing the Humboldt Park side of Chicago, where I attended Roberto Clemente High School back in the day. I am a local Songwriter/Music Entertainer/Fashion Accessory Designer. I have been writing, singing & performing songs since the age of 12, and I am currently in the 30's club. I am Black/Puerto Rican mixed, my mother is African American & my father of course is a hot tempered Puerto Rican, so therefore I have the best of two great worlds combined. I have worked with many, many producers in the past on music & song concepts as well as being featured in a few Chicago local celebrity videos. I have also worked side by side with the Legendary "Guru" where we recorded a song for a compilation cd over at Sample Kings Studio with producer "Doc" in New York City, a few years back. I have worked on song concepts with the Legendary "Biz Markie" as well. Yes I have had my share of big-time celebrity contacts on the music side, but nothing has truly happened big in my favor. I have worked with Ming & Skee Franchise of Ming's Dynasty Records, which I was also the vocalist & singing cameo girl for their song title "When them Guns Pop" video, which was directed by Morocco. I was also one of the Model Chicks in the cut for Skee Franchise's hot new video "He Got That Good". I have recorded with other chicago producers like: Lidell Townsell who has produced 3 songs up on my page. Mistro from Grimmeville Entertainment, D.T.A Productions, Cayex, Toxic, Dj Slugo, Legendary Traxster, Black Dad of M.O.B Records, Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson formally of Big Dog Productions, Ceasar over at Close & Play Productions, Dj Monty & Dj Mikey Mike from Low End Productions, Chu & Nalon of Darkside Studio, Reno Chinati, Daddy Warbucks & Young Bruza, Former Producer Don of Neighborhood Watch Records, as well as the members of Black Plague out in Maywood. I look forward to writing songs & hooks for Kanye West, Jay-Z, Twista, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, T.I., T-Pain, 50 cent, Mariah C., Missy Elliot, Mobb Deep, Fat Joe, Neyo, Ciara & Busta, and all the other hot names in the music industry. I am very confident with my writing skills & I know that my creative mind can back me up. I have been featured in other local music videos directed by Chris Adams of Impakt Studios, which I was a feature in Dj Smurf's video from Atlanta, as well as being featured in the video for Big Bucket from Oklahoma in the mid to late 90's. I am a long time associate of Chi-Towns finest "Twista" as well as the members of "Do or Die" and Crucial Conflict. I was featured in Twista's "Ball Wit Us" Video, directed by Chris Adams of Impakt Studios, as well as being featured on a skit on one of Twista's past albums. In the early 90's I had recorded 2 House tracks, one called "Do Yo Thang" and "Once Bitten" with "Tyree Cooper", which at that time he was signed to DJ International Records along with "Fast Eddie". I then recorded a House track titled "Do U Wanna Play" with "Too Kool Chris" of Renegade Records, who was also a Dj of Chicago's B96 radio. I have worked with Chicago producer "M DOC" formally of Indasoul records, Corey Steels of Midwest Productions along side with a songwriter/producer by the name of Krash. Writing songs is a true passsion and gift that I was blessed with. I am able to write songs off the top of my head with no pen and paper at times. I write R&B, POP, HIP-HOP, CLUB BANGERS, SOUL, ROCK, COUNTRY & INSPIRATIONAL SONGS. For me it's a no-brainer, never under estimate the creative mind of anyone, especially if you are not really sure of what they can do. God has blessed me with many crafts and talents. I am very versatile when it comes to my looks, I'm a photogenic person who can rock any style. Though I am a gemini, I have many faces not just two. I am the many faces of Tena Renee'. I have alot to offer to the public and not just singing or songwriting. I have my own Handcrafted Fashion Accessory business called "Tena Renee's Jewelry Displays". I handcraft beaded & wooded accessories . I started my business in July, 2005, after departing as a Legal Secretary for a Law Firm in downtown Chicago. I went into business for myself and realized that I was on to something good and that Fashion will never go out of style. Children & Adults dress for all occassions, so I handcraft & design jewelry for all occassions. I intend to have my jewelry worn by MODELS for FASHION SHOWS, PHOTO SHOOTS, MUSIC VIDEOS, COMMERCIALS, & RADIO PERSONALITIS.
