ONE OF THE GREATS. I remember the first time i saw telomere repair. i was watching some band i never heard heard of, let alone pronounce the name as they were listed as TELEOmere repair. what the fuck is a teleomere?? (i know what a telomere is.) anyway, i'm watching this band through a window while standing outside smoking a cig thinking i'm too cool to watch the opening acts even though it was my bands first show. all of a sudden i start hearing this sonic invasion and im thinking "what's up with the timing here? that's bad ass!". i go in. i check it out. love at first sight. or listen. whatever. so i forget all about these guys until about a year later when my band finally starts to play shows. it seems every show we play, these guys are on the bill. instantly, they become one of my favorite bands. not just "friends band" or "local band", but a great fucking band. i want everyone to know about them. i hustle a few shirts off them and wear them every chance i can. i tell people GO TO THEIR LIVE SHOW! even when i missed half of them. meeting these guys you realize they're everyday guys just like me. except they fucking slay music like no other!!! i'll never forget this band. they're one of the greats.
