Soca Passion, known as NYC’s Sexiest Soca Party, is a monthly event which combines live performances with a spirited and energetic dance party. Soca Passion has featured some of the biggest names in Caribbean music including Surge, Boogie B, 3Suns, Farm P, Bud and JahBami as well as many up and coming artists. Soca Passion, has been heralded as the return of Soca Music to New York City. After a long hiatus, Soca music has found a new home in the heart of Manhattan in Soca Passion.

Soca Passion continues a strong Caribbean tradition which has spread around the world through the success of Soca and Calypso music. The music has gained international recognition with the accomplishments of artists such as Harry Belafonte, The Mighty Sparrow, Arrow, David Rudder and more recently Machel Montano, Allison Hinds, Rupee and Kevin Lyttle.

Soca Passion is held at the Albella Lounge, 10 Reade St. between Centre Street & Broadway near City Hall in downtown Manhattan. The event takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month and features the Soca Passion specialty drinks; “Soca Passion”, “Wild Passion” and “Love Fire” as well as an exciting international food menu.
