The first year there were 250 people, the second year there were 1,100 and we are expecting more than 2,000 for the 4rd annual taking place March 7-9th, 2008. The home base being King's Bend in Blount County Alabama located on the Locust Fork of the Warrior River will accommodate all campers and spectators. There is the Fluid Kayaks(www.FluidKayaks.com) Freestyle off the waterfall competition on Friday March 9th at 20 foot Short Creek Falls near Guntersville, Alabama. Also included at Short Creek we will have the LaraBar(www.LaraBar.com)Boatercross event off the same 20 foot waterfall. Friday night, at King's Bend, we will have live music and there will be comical games and entertainment all night. Saturday on the Locust Fork River there will be a Terrapin Beer(www.TerrapinBeer.com) Throw Down Hole competition and a Gaia(www.Gaiapaddlesports.com) Big Air competition starting in the morning and followed by the Yell's Hardwoodfloor ramp exhibition on Mt. Khaos courtesy of Keith Yell. If you have any questions please visit our official website at www.Nawfest.net. We hope to see you all there with bells on.
