About me: Make It Funky began when like minded heads frustrated by the vibes around the city came together and decided to put on a show that could help Toronto put the funk back in its rump. With a focus on mixing live bands and djs, Make It Funky has raised the bar for events in Toronto and is recognized across Canada, Korea, UK and parts of the USA for its unique vibe and dream lineups.

In less than a year since the collective came together we have managed to bring 6 First time acts through Toronto including, All Good Funk Alliance, Fort Knox Five, Kid Gusto, Smalltown Djs, Wax romeo, and Mat The Alien. This is just the beginning and the collective continues to grow.
2006 was an amazing year for Make It Funky as party by party increased in excitement and diversity! From Africa Bambaataa to Krafty Kuts, Make It Funky rocked the crowd and left them wanting more! More is exactly what we have planned.
